At the same time there are indications of increasing frequency of erratic natural events in this part of the world which are related to climate change. This special issue will focus on-

(a) Linkages of Atmospheric chemistry, Climate Change and Asian Monsoon;
(b) Emerging topics related to biomass burning, atmospheric brown Cloud, long range transport of pollutants and recent trends in anthropogenic emission trends with special reference to Asia. Papers should provide interactive process science between atmospheric chemistry, climate and monsoon with a special focus on Asia.
