HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL STUDIES

PROBABLE MAXIMUM PRECIPITATION

Atlas containing generalised Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) charts for different parts of India has been published.

Analysis of long series rainfall data on different time scales over various basin of the country have been carried out.

STUDIES ON RAINSTORMS

Extensive and systematic studies of rainstorms which occurred over different parts of India during past 100 years have been carried out and published an Atlas of Rainstorms.
