The book containing selected full length papers of LT-ACT"99 entitled "Long Term Changes and Trends in the Atmosphere" is released in 2000 in two volumes (edited by Dr. Gufran Beig). This collection of work on middle atmospheric trends is probably the first of its kind in recent years marked by rapidly increasing attention towards global change issues.
