JGR-Special Issue for C4

It is our pleasure to announce that modalities are being worked out to invite selected papers presented in C4 workshop to submit for a special issue in "JGR-Atmospheres" (AGU-Journal). A complete announcement and the procedure for submitting in GEMS system of AGU will be announced soon. To keep the focus of the special issue, papers qualified in the following abstract can be submitted for the same. The submitted papers will be peer reviewed as per the normal procedure of JGR. A short description of special issue would be as follows:

"South Asia plays a key role in the Earth System and increasingly contributing to anthropogenic emissions to the atmosphere. This special issue will focus on-

(a) Linkages of Atmospheric chemistry, Climate Change and Asian Monsoon;
(b) Current and Emerging topics related to extreme weather and air pollution events;

Biomass Burning, Asian Brown Cloud, etc. Papers should provide interactive process science between atmospheric chemistry, climate and monsoon with a special focus on Asia. In addition, selected papers related to forecasting of atmospheric composition and emissions will also be considered. "
