We wish to inform you that "IITM-WMO seminar on Metropolitan Air Quality Forecasting and Services (SAFAR)" will be held at Pune, India on 30^th April 2013 preceding the workshop on Changing Chemistry in Changing Climate: Monsoon (C4) to be held during May 1-3, 2013 at the same venue.

The SAFAR seminar aims at bringing together scientists, experts, practitioners and decision-makers involved in real time data generation, modelling and short term predictions in the field of air quality and weather to share evidence-based knowledge and experiences in order to discuss the current state, challenges in air quality and weather forecasting and to set the future agenda in the field.

• The author of the abstract (or one lead author in the case of co-authors) will be notified about their abstract selection directly by Mid-march.

Papers are expected to be focused on one of the three themes with particular emphasis on actions to be taken. You are requested to submit your abstracts online.
