• Member of the WCRP Climate and Ocean: Variability, Predictability and Change (CLIVAR) Core Project Scientific Steering Group (SSG) for the period 2023-2026
• Recipient of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) 2022 Devendra Lal Medal on 14 December 2022, during the AGU Fall Meeting in Chicago, USA for his outstanding research in Earth and Space Sciences. He was also awarded the Lifetime Membership of the AGU.

• पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालय द्वारा हिंदी पखवाड़ा एवं पुरस्‍कार वितरण समरोह-2022 का आयोजन  17 अक्‍टूबर 2022 को प्रात: 11:00 बजे मंत्रालय के महिका सभागार किया गया।  मंत्रालय के अधीन कार्यालयों/संस्‍थानों में कार्य करने वाले एवं नोडल राजभाषा अधिकारियों का अतिरिक्‍त कार्यभार संभालने वाले आई.आई.टीम, पुणे के वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डॉ. मिलिंद मुजुमदार को प्रशस्‍ति-पत्र प्रदान किया गया।

• Appointed as a LEAD Expert Team Urban Services (ET-US) Working Group on WMO - Regional Association II.
• Elected by Integrated land ecosystem atmosphere process studies (iLEPAS) to serve as a Co-Chair starting from 2022. Before serving Co-Chair, Dr. Ghude served iLEAPS as Member, Scientific Steering Committee.
• Member, Expert Group constituted by Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to examine the suggestions before finalization of the policy to curb air pollution in Delhi-NCR. This Expert Group will finalize the policy to curb air pollution in Delhi-NCR.

• Taken charge of a Co-Chair of CLIVAR/GEWEX Monsoons Panel (MP) of WCRP this year for 2022, in addition to his role in Working Group on Asian-Australian Monsoons (WG-AAM) of MP.
• Co-chair of CLIVAR/GEWEX Monsoons Panel of WMO.
