Funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), ARTCI is India’s first dedicated atmospheric research testbed designed to study cloud, precipitation, and land-atmosphere processes driving the monsoon. Located in Central India’s Monsoon Core Zone (MCZ), the facility is equipped with 25+ advanced meteorological instruments to generate high-resolution, long-term observations essential for improving weather and climate models.
