Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Earth Sciences, on Tuesday virtually inaugurated the first phase of the Atmospheric Research Testbed in Central India (ART-CI) located in Sehore district, about 50 km northwest of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), ARTCI is equipped with over 25 advanced meteorological instruments to study monsoon cloud processes, atmospheric dynamics, and land-atmosphere interactions over India’s Monsoon Core Zone (MCZ).
