IITM contributed to WMO WWRP 2018 Report on Global Precipitation Enhancement Activities

Dr Thara Prabhakaran, Project Director of Physics and Dynamics of Tropical Clouds, IITM  has contributed  to the new WMO report entitled, “Peer Review Report on Global Precipitation Enhancement Activities WWRP 2018 - 1".

Dr Thara, being Member of WMO Expert Team for weather modification, and working on “Cloud Aerosol Interaction and Precipitation Enhancement Experiment" (CAIPEEX) – one of the program under Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES)  has covered CAIPEEX extensively in this report.

This WMO report on  Global Precipitation Enhancement Activities, serves as  an important reference material, will be soon available in print format  by WMO.
