a. Teaching

Visiting faculty to deliver lectures on hydrometeorology at National Water Academy (NWA), Khadakwasla, Pune and also for Advance Met. Training Course , IMD, Pune

b. Research Guidance

a. Research Guidance has been provided to a M.Sc. student of Environmental Science, Pune University for his project work during May-July 2011.

b. 5 students of Post graduation B.Sc. Course in RS-GIS, Geography department, Pune University successfully completed their project work under my guidance during Mar-June 2013.

(2) Foreign Deputations

1. participated in the training program on 'Agricultural Applications of Climate Forecasts', held at Toowoomba, Queensland in Australia during 1-21February, 1999.

2. Participated and presented the project work in the APN Regional Workshop on 'Climate Extremes Indices and Indicators for Monitoring Trends In South Asia' held at Islamabad, Pakistan during 2-6 January 2006.

3. Participated in the ACIAR project meeting at Melbourne University, Australia and also worked on hydrological modeling during 20 Mar.-15 Apr. 2011.

a. Member of the subcommittee WRD 1:1 to deal with the work of ISO technical committee ISO/TC 113.

b. Member of the Technical Advisory Research Committee (TARC) for the assessment of the CWC sponsored projects.

(4) Sponsored Projects

I was actively involved in the INDO-UK collaborative project on “ Impacts of climate change on water resources in India”, sponsored by DEFRA, UK in collaboration with MOEF, India.
I worked as Co- Principal Investigator for a no. of hydrological projects on different river basins of India such as Indus, Ganga, Brahmaputra, Godavari and Krishna. These projects were sponsored by Central Water Commission (CWC) Delhi, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), National Hydro-power Corporation(NHPC), India.
Member of the ACIAR (Australian Center for International Agricultural Research) funded collaborative project on,' Impacts of climate change and watershed development in the Krishna Basin, India and Murray-Darling Basin, Australia'
